Lychee Intelligence Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") developed Sika ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Service.
Service Overview
Sika is a meeting audio-to-transcript service powered by LINE Bot and LIFF (LINE Front-end Framework). Users send audio recordings via LINE, our AI engine processes the speech recognition and generates transcripts, which can be viewed, edited, and shared through the LIFF interface.
Data Collection & Usage
To provide the Service, we collect and process the following data:
LINE Account Information
When you log in via LINE, we retrieve the following through the LINE Login API:
- LINE User ID — used to identify your account
- Display name and profile picture — used for display within the service interface
We do not access your LINE friends list, chat history, or any LINE data beyond what is necessary for the Service.
Audio Recordings
Audio files sent via LINE are temporarily stored on our servers for speech recognition processing. After processing, original audio files are managed according to our data retention policy.
Transcript Content
Transcripts generated by speech recognition, along with any edits you make, are stored in our database so you can access and manage them at any time.
AI Proofreading
When you use the AI correction feature, transcript content is sent to a Large Language Model (LLM) service for typo and phrasing correction. Results are returned for your review — you can choose whether to accept the changes.
Data Sharing
The Service provides sharing functionality:
- You can generate a share link for a meeting record — anyone with the link can view the transcript without logging in
- You can revoke sharing at any time to invalidate the link
- Sharing is always initiated by you — we never automatically share your content with third parties
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on our self-managed servers
- The Service uses HTTPS encrypted transmission
- LINE Webhook requests are verified using HMAC-SHA256 signatures
- The account system uses a separated Account + Identity architecture with UUID primary keys
Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party services:
- LINE Messaging API — for receiving recordings
- LINE Login / LIFF SDK — for user authentication
- Speech recognition engine — self-hosted on our servers for speech-to-text and speaker identification
- LLM Service — for AI transcript proofreading
Data Retention
Your meeting records and transcripts are retained until you actively delete them or your account is deactivated. You can manage your meeting records at any time through the LIFF interface.
Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- View and edit your transcript content
- Manage the validity of share links
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy Changes
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the content on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest privacy information.
